Encampment Cadre: If you were selected as Encampment Cadre for 2020, remember to respond to C/Lt Col Ryan Porter's 11/23/20 email BY NOON SUNDAY, 11/29/20 (tomorrow!) to let him know if you would still like to be cadre. If by June 10-20, 2021 your rank will be too high for your assigned position, you may opt for a different position. Details forthcoming. ALL CADETS WHO HAVE NOT ATTENDED ENCAMPMENT: please plan to attend June 13-20, 2021. I'm on the planning committee, so I'll keep all of you updated!!

Wreaths Across America: Please sponsor wreaths and ask friends, family & neighbor to sponsor wreaths at $15 each to REMEMBER...HONOR...and TEACH. In January, cadets set a goal of getting 1000 wreaths sponsored by 12/15/20. 955 to go! Gift ideas for cadets: Not sure what to get your favorite cadet for his or her birthday, Christmas, or other gift-giving occasion? Not sure what to ask for for yourself? Perhaps the items on these Amazon wish lists will help. Be sure to change the address to your own address. Otherwise you may get these for me by accident! Also feel free to suggest additional items for these lists. You don't have to order them from amazon. These are just ideas.

Wing-Level Awards: Starting Oct 1 of each year, cadets become eligible for multiple Squadron- and Wing-level awards such as VFW Officer, VFW NCO, AFSA NCO, AFSA Aerospace Ed, AFA Cadet of the Year, Achievement Awards, and Wing Commander's Commendations. If you (cadets) print the template in the website below and make notes on your accomplishments throughout the year, it is easier for leadership to nominate your for one of these awards. Nominations are due in August of every year.
