Tuesday September 15th was a joint PT meeting with Polaris squadron. It was held outdoors on the Wendler middle school track. Cadets did PT tests and played games.

On September 22nd, cadets met virtually for a cameras-on Character Development and Awards Ceremony meeting. C/MSgt Ben Walkup did a virtual blues uniform inspection. Character Development was led by Lt. Padgett on resilience. Cadets discussed what aspects of the CAP pillars have helped them through the pandemic.

Cadets spent the evening of September 29th biking the Smokejumper trails throughout Anchorage.

Several Lake Hood cadets participated in VFW Post 1685’s annual flag retirement ceremony. When American flags become old, tattered, and no longer good for use, they are given to the VFW post. Cadets who participated were taught how to ceremoniously fold and burn the flags.
