7/26/20 Lake Hood Update

July 27, 2020

Hello, Lake Hood Cadets, Senior Members & Parents.

A few quick updates:

Tue 7/28/20 Meeting: DRESS BLUES meeting--where whatever you have and whatever still fits, even if it's a partial uniform.  We will not be meeting with any other squadrons, so it's a good time to take your blues for a test drive.  We may be able to help you find items you need for your uniform. Bring facemask, water, expect the usual screening questions : -)

Please make sure your hair, jewelry, etc meet regulations (CAPR 39-1 available here: https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/media/cms/CAPR_039_001_5_Mar_2020__6EA485E9593C8.pdf)

6:30-8:30pm at Alaska Airmen Association.  Topic is Character Development and a Promotion/Awards Ceremony.

Please plan to show up on Day 1 in ABUs with uniform, hair, jewelry, etc meeting regulations in CAPR 39-1 (see screen shots below for hair reg diagram & text)

To best prepare for the Workshop, set up your CAP GMail (go here for instructions: https://lakehood.cap.gov/news/cap-googlegmail-account-setup).  If you are eligible to promote between now and the workshop, please try to do so to have access to new material for the *next* promotion you can be working on.
